Summary

High up on the Floating Island, Knuckles is frustrated at having reached a dead end in the Island repairs. He goes to see Porker Lewis, who has found some strange kind of stone circle that has fascinated him. But Knuckles panics and tells him to step away - it's a portal and as the two move to leave they're sucked in towards the Nightmare Country; or as it's known in modern times, the Special Zone.

Chaotix meanwhile are fighting the Zombie Brothers; Mighty and Espio having a loud bickery argument as to who hits hardest.

Porker and Knuckles end up underwater in a New Tek City river. As they surface (annoying a fisherman, who grumbles that kids today haven't got any consideration), Porker seems anxious. Urgently trying to hack a 'phone station to get in contact with Chaotix, a couple of policeman see. One of them points at Porker, recognising him - as Oscar the Pig!
