Summary

Grouchio thinks quickly and explains that the battle between Knuckles and the badniks is a display of the forces of good triumphing over Robotnik. But Knuckles breaks away in time and gets in the way. Grouchio insists that he's too late, but Knuckles feels the ground until he finds a fault-line. Then, with a mighty punch he smashes the entire zone clean off the island!

The island hovers for a moment, but as it loses emerald power (because the emeralds are kept on the main island), the Carnival Island begins to fall...

In the Emerald Hill Zone, a little kid walks off dejected because all his friends have gone to the Carnival Night Zone, but because it's too expensive and so far away, he can't go. Just as he wishes the Carnival Night Zone wasn't so far away, the entire zone comes crashing down in front of him. He goes rushing in to tell him mum what he just did!

Inside the wreckage, Grouchio decides to head back to Super Marxio World, and believes that when Knuckles catches up with Robotnik, Robotnik is going to have quite a fight on his hands because Knuckles is tougher than he looks!
