Summary

Chaotix arrive in Sidewinder's base. Sidewinder is desperate for a chance to destroy Chaotix and a battle ensues. Super and Sonic meanwhile tough it out; but Super is far more powerful than Sonic. Eventually Sonic comes up with a plan. In the thick of the fight, he lures Super into the Omni-Viewer, and then darts out. He wants Omni to warp Super far away.

But Omni won't do this. Wherever he is, Super will seek to destroy those around him. Then, Super (and Omni) freeze. They just stop. It seems that the Omni-Viewer has frozen time within itself. Time is effectively stopped for Super. But in making himself the ultimate prison, Omni is gone. Worse, without Omni, Sonic can't leave the Special Zone. He's trapped for the duration.

As an epilogue, we see Charmy Bee trying to figure out what everybody was talking about with Super when he notice that Super's hands had changed position. But he finally concludes that it's probably nothing and that Vector will only shout at him - so why mention it?
