Summary
The island smashes onto a mountain tops and balances there for a moment.
Zachary prepares to attack, but Knuckles smashes off the robot's body. The
tremors are shaking the island; the people in the Mushroom Hill feel them.
Doctor Zachary tries to escape, but a part falls off the edge of the island
and Zachary plummets away. Knuckles is resigned to the fact that they're
doomed without the Master Emerald when an idea strikes him.
In the Emerald Chamber, he places the Robot's head -- charged with the
Master Emerald's energy -- into the place where the Master Emerald once
hovered. The Floating Island rises...
Knuckles at the end reflects that he was so eager to see one of his own race
that he never considere DZ might be bad. He's still hopeful that his people
may return one day... but next time he'll be asking a few more questions!
