Summary

Sonic is waiting by the bottom of the chain that links the Miracle Planet to Never Lake on Mobius. As the Miracle Planet (also known as the Little Planet) appears from another dimension, he sees Porker Lewis returning along the chain. The planet looks fine; it's perfect and green. It seems that Porker stopped whatever plan the Metallixes had while the Miracle Planet was in different dimensions. Porker insists that he is quite all right.

Meanwhile, the Omni-Viewer materialises in Never Lake and out fall Chaotix. They've arrived at Never Lake to investigate the Brotherhood of Metallix, but soon have more than enough trouble with a group of SBS (Special Badnik Service) Troopers. They're helped out by Sonic's arrival. As Sonic boasts that he had already sorted the Metallixes out, the Omni-Viewer detects some kind of energy field around the Planet and sets about phasing it out.

The green image of the planet disperses to reveal a world covered in metal, shaped like the head of a Metallix.
