Summary
Sonic, Porker and Chaotix are led into the Underground - the last colony of flesh creatures on Planet Mobius. But Kintobor has no memory of ever being Doctor Robotnik - he thinks the name sounds silly. The guys soon worked out that if the Metallixes changed the timestream, then whatever they changed prevented Robotnik from being created. So using the Omni-Viewer, they head
back in time. Kintobor gives Sonic a device which he claims will work against the Metallixes, although it has never been tested. So the gang head back - but sure enough encounter the Metallixes, who aren't stupid enough to leave the timelines unguarded.
The device is put onto one of the Metallixes, who instantly sees his brothers as the enemy and starts shooting at them. Sonic notices that one of
the deactivated Metallixes is carrying a rotten egg - but what possible significance could this be? Anyway, the gang head back into Omni and move
back through the timestream (Chaotix moaning that Sonic brought the egg with him).
The gang arrive in the past and peek around the corner of the room they're in. Doctor Kintobor is there, but Charmy doesn't recognise the brown
hedgehog standing with him: until he's informed that the brown hedgehog is SONIC!
