Summary
DRAT, the Doctor Robotnik Appreciation Tribe, arrive to try and nab the Emeralds in their flying ship, hoping to present them as a gift to Robotnik when he returns. Four of DRAT's newest members however, seem less concerned. The guys land but DRAT's technology doesn't work - and their new members have disappeared. Knuckles arrives in Megapolis City but the Guardian Robots - now working for him and cleared of Doctor Zachary's controlling machinery - have done his job for him. But Knuckles is concerned at the four new members of DRAT loose on his island and goes to hunt them down.
The members are: a long-haired lizard called Miss. Alpha; an enormous muscle-bound ape called Mr. Beta; a tall giraffe named Mr. Gamma; and a small koala-type creature with glasses and a high-tech hand-computer called Mr. Delta. Knuckles arrives to intercept them, but is given a nasty shock. After being subdued by Beta, an exceptionally bright light is shone in his eyes - Knuckles finds himself blinded
Alpha explains that his sight will return soon enough for him to glide down to Mobius - but by then the team will have done what they came to do. With a final call of "happy landings!" Knuckles is thrown off the edge of the Floating Island.
