Summary
Mr. Gamma, the technical genius of the group activates a chameleon chip which renders them invisible to the robots. The robots can't see them, and so the criminals walk right past them and down the tunnel to the Emerald Chamber.
Except Knuckles is there - he smashes out of a side-tunnel, and is ready for the criminals' tricks. He uses Beta's momentum against him and fights back. But while he's preoccupied, a collar is placed around his neck. Miss Alpha presses a button on a remote control and Knuckles falls to the ground, writhing in an electric shock. Alpha explains to a dazed Knuckles that if he doesn't want to feel the shock collar again, he should keep out of the way until the criminals have completed what they came to do.
