Summary

Things look grim for Knuckles, but he makes a final dive and makes Alpha drop the remote control. In the confusion, Knuckles desperately tries to get it, but Alpha is too quick and picks it up.

Knuckles accuses her of being mad to want to get her hands on the Emeralds - their power is too unstable.

Alpha however quite agrees; but she retorts that the Island is littered with priceless artefacts. What would they want Knuckles' silly emeralds for?

But suddenly a troop of Guardian Robots march down the passage. Alpha is confused - their chameleon chips should have worked. But, knowing that they can't get past the Guardian Robots, they allow themselves to come quietly.

Once Knuckles returns to the Emerald Chamber, one of the Guardian Robots opens up to reveal - Porker Lewis. It turns out that the Guardian Robots really couldn't see the criminals, but Porker operated one of the robots manually and instructed the rest to follow.

Knuckles is still grouchy though, and has one last request though - to get him out of the shock collar!
