Summary

Shortfuse the Cybernik, a super badnik trooper that broke free of Robotnik's brainwashing attempts, is busy bashing badniks when he finds himself being led to the Floating Island. Knuckles sees him, and assumes that he's a badnik. A fight ensues, but Shortfuse leaves when it's clear that his explanations are lost. But as he goes home, he sees that Knuckles is going to be ambushed by a nasty trio of Coconuts badniks, and smashes them. Knuckles understands then that Shortfuse truly is a good guy, and they shake hands. As Shortfuse flies away, Knuckles reflects that Shortfuse is a powerful ally against Robotnik - but that if Robotnik ever found a way to control him, he could become the deadliest force on Mobius!
