Summary
Trogg lunges and grips Knuckles by the neck. Tails looks back and shouts to Morain that Knuckles is in trouble. Morain questions this: she had been led to believe that Tails' assistant was called Sonic! But they rush to help him quickly, not that it does much good. As Trogg leans close to Knuckles, Knuckles waits for his opportunity and socks him. He swings out of his grasp and Trogg's next swipe misses. Knuckles throws a final punch, but Trogg falss against the ropes of the bridge and Trogg falls down to thenon-existent space. Looks like that's the last of Trogg.
Back in the Nameless Zone, Shaman Warpull greets the heroes and the Enchanter Kings. Tails insists that he had a lot of help, which prompts the amusing exchange.
SHAMAN: Ah, yes, your assistant, 'Sonic'!
KNUCKLES: (grinning widely) Tails' little helper, that's me!
Errol is also fine; he just woke up in the village stocks. Trogg reappears at this point, launching himself at Tails. He barely caught the Dimension bridge rope in time - but now he wants his final revenge; revenge for past humiliations!
But Trogg suddenly feels strange. He transforms back into the third Enchanter King. It seems that the spell of the Dark One took longer to wear off Trogg (who had been in evil form for years).
So Knuckles and Tails head home... and Morain is stuff none the wiser about "this 'Knuckles' thing!"
