Robotnik, Nack, Grimer, Sonic and Amy arrive in the Emerald Hill Zone. Robotnik's plan has failed, and he hasn't come out as world ruler. Desperate and mad, Robotnik lunges for Sonic determined to destroy him. But Sonic easily trounces him, and he falls into the path of Tekno, Shortfuse, Tails, Knuckles and Johnny.
Robotnik maintains that Sonic is his greatest enemy and that he'll never stop, but Amy says that he's wrong - Robotnik could have been a good and kind ruler, but instead he chose to be a tyrant. So that's why Sonic isn't Robotnik's greatest enemy - but he himself is!
Robotnik walks away dejected, resting on Nack and Grimer. Grimer persuades Robotnik that they can build new badniks and rule again, but Robotnik just mutters "shut it".
After the celebrations for Sonic's return to Mobius, Sonic and Amy talk to Tekno. It seems that Mobius is the same as before but now they have access to the zones from Shanazar as well. But even stranger, portals have been opened to Earth.
Sonic comments that they're in for more peril and excitement than ever before. Then he starts breaking into a run and calls out: "Come on Amy! We've got New Zones to explore!"
As for Kupacius? Well, she's got the invincibility crystal and is actually having quite a nice time in a nearby pond - bossing all the other frogs about!
