Sonic, Amy, Shortfuse and Tekno meanwhile find an anomoly through the Eternity Ring. The Eternity Ring is a gateway to new zones, so they hop through and are taken to Earth. This is Easter Island, but the sky is red!
As they explore, the stone statues swing into attack. Even as Sonic and Shortfuse fight back, the creatures rebuild themselves.
Amy notices a crack in the ground opening up where a statue smashed it. Tekno follows, and they find some kind of alien machine below. Tekno investigates it and finds that it's sending energy to a remote point on Mobius. Amy urges her to shut it down and quickly but Tekno says that it's alien technology - she's not sure that she can!
Meanwhile, Sonic and Shortfuse begin to think that there's no way out. Sonic says that it may be the end - but they're going down fighting!
Meanwhile, a statue has followed Amy and Tekno. Amy pulls Tekno away, Tekno still desperate for more time. Amy levels her crossbow at the machine and shouts: "there's no time, Tekno. WE'LL HAVE TO SAVE THE WORLD MY WAY!"
She shoots the machine, it explodes and the girls come tumbling out. Sonic and Shortfuse zoom to their sides, but they're fine. The sky clears. It seems that someone wanted Earth's energy because it had such a similar eco-system to Mobius - but who.
Sonic, Shortfuse, Amy and Tekno leap into the Eternity to finish the job and save Mobius - if they still can!
